One of ANU’s core values is Community; and this is embodied in the day to day activities taking place on and off-campus.

Against this backdrop, we have a growing, diverse community in which persons of all backgrounds – different ethnicities, nationalities, socio-economic backgrounds, and differently-abled persons are able to come, find their place, and thrive.

It comes as no surprise, therefore, that cultural event dominates the annual social calendar on campus; with a cultural gala event dedicated to each of the over ten nationalities on campus. This offers a glimpse into the University’s extensive investment into helping foreign national students feel at home, whilst affording the community at large opportunity to be part of ongoing, valuable intercultural exchanges. As a result, the ANU community is a reflection of our diverse world.

We esteem a global outlook on life and its value to personal growth – well-rounded individuals who thrive in diverse environments and innovation-driven by global exposure. As such, ANU runs a prestigious student exchange program in collaboration with fellow Nazarene Universities across the (globe) including Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Northwest Nazarene University, Olivet Nazarene University, and Point Loma Nazarene University amongst others.

Each year, many of our students take part in the program upon successfully completing a competitive application process; and our faculty benefit from a similar exchange program with the same Universities for both personal academic advancement as well as teaching opportunities.

To make higher education inclusive for all, ANU offers a range of scholarships disbursed annually which makes it possible for students from financially challenged backgrounds to pursue University education, given that they meet the minimum threshold of a 3.0 GPA or 2.8 GPA and committed to a Sport.
